2-Year Warranty Policy

1) Overview

We warrant that Verse & Hue jewelry is free from manufacturing and craftsmanship defects under normal use for twenty-four (24) months from the later of (a) the purchase date or (b) the delivery date.

2) What This Warranty Covers

  • Soldering and setting defects (e.g., prongs, bezels, jump rings, clasps).
  • Chains that break due to workmanship (not accidental pulling).
  • Loose or missing accent stones up to 2.5 mm caused by setting defects.
  • Metal porosity, pits, or cracks from casting defects.
  • Clearly uneven plating or discoloration caused by plating defects present at delivery.

Material notes: Moissanite and lab-grown diamonds are covered for setting/craftsmanship issues, not subjective appearance. Precious-metal fineness (e.g., 14K/18K gold, S925 silver) is as specified on each product page.

3) What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear (micro-scratches, scuffs, silver oxidation/tarnish).
  • Plating wear due to use, perspiration, cosmetics, or chemicals after 90 days.
  • Accidental damage, impact, bending, crushing, snagging, improper sizing or force.
  • Loss or theft.
  • Center stones that fall out due to impact or prong damage caused by wear.
  • Damage or defects from third-party alterations/repairs or unauthorized resizing/engraving.
  • Custom or personalized items unless a manufacturing defect is reported upon delivery.
  • Damage from harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaning on fragile settings.

4) Remedies

For approved warranty claims, at our discretion we will:

  1. Repair the item; or
  2. Replace it with the same model or an equivalent item if repair is not commercially reasonable; or
  3. Issue store credit equal to the product price paid (excluding shipping, taxes, and discounts).

5) Costs & Shipping

  • Day 0–90 (from purchase or delivery, whichever is later): for confirmed manufacturing defects, we cover standard round-trip shipping to and from our service center.
  • Day 91–730: you ship the item to us; after repair, we cover the return shipping back to you.
  • If an item is not covered, we will provide a repair/re-plating quotation before proceeding.

Service center addresses are provided in the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) email. Unauthorized returns without an RMA may be refused or returned to sender.

6) How to Make a Warranty Claim

Email info@versehue.store with:

  • Order number (e.g., VH12345).
  • Clear photos/videos showing the issue.
  • A brief description of when and how the issue occurred.
  • Your return address and phone number.

We typically reply within 2 business days with next steps and an RMA if eligible. Inspection usually takes 7–14 business days; most repairs take 10–20 business days after approval.

7) Care Requirements

To help keep your warranty valid, follow these care guidelines: avoid contact with perfume, chlorine, bleach, and other harsh chemicals; remove jewelry before swimming, workouts, and sleeping; store pieces separately to prevent scratches. See our care guide: /pages/jewelry-care.

8) Resizing, Re-plating & Maintenance

  • One-time complimentary ring resizing within 30 days for eligible designs (±1 US size); shipping terms follow Section 5.
  • Re-plating or repolishing beyond the warranty scope is available as a paid service upon request.

9) Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase and is not transferable.

10) Relation to Returns & Consumer Law

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under applicable consumer protection laws in your region. Please also review our Returns/Refund Policy.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the remedies stated above and shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product.

12) Policy Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version published on our website applies to new purchases.
